How about some fresh air with your meal?

Sunny days and starry nights lead to spring and summer's outdoor tables. Dining alfresco is one of Long Island's seasonal treats. And if the restaurant offers a water view, it's even better.

There are plenty of local restaurants to take advantage of the opportunity.

WAVE: Wave is Situated at Danfords Hotel & Marina, a local landmark at the ferry dock. Alfresco dining at the handsome restaurant is a seasonal attraction. Recommended: steamed lobster, grilled yellow fin tuna, pan-seared salmon, sushi rolls, fish and chips made with cod, pulled pork sandwich.
