Experience one of Port Jefferson's most colorful waterfront traditions at the 12th Annual Port Jefferson Dragon Boat Race Fest. Held at Jeanne Garant Harborfront Park and throughout the Port Jefferson Inner Harbor, this all-day community celebration combines exciting dragon boat racing with live entertainment, activities, local vendors, food, and family-friendly fun.
Cheer on teams during three dragon boat race heats, catch the land dragon races and tug-of-war competition, enjoy a traditional dragon dance, or explore more than 20 vendors throughout the festival. Kids can take part in crafts and activities, while food trucks including DJ's Clam Shack, Naked Burger, The Good Food Truck, and Tea Brew will be serving throughout the day. Guests can even register ahead of time for the festival's dog "Dragon" costume contest.
