Dock Removal Underway at Danfords Marina

As part of the ongoing repair efforts following the 2026 winter storm damage, a third-party marine contractor is currently on-site at Danfords Marina to remove damaged dock sections within the inner basin.

This process involves safely detaching compromised dock structures and transporting them offsite for disposal and further evaluation. The work is focused and controlled, and is expected to be completed within a short timeframe.

These efforts are a necessary step in advancing the overall marina repair plan and preparing the site for future restoration.

There is no impact to guest-facing operations. Danfords Hotel, Black Pearl Seafood Chophouse, Pearl Caterers, and Yoga For Life Spa all remain fully open and operating as usual. Scheduled events will continue without interruption.

On the water, the Danfords Fuel Dock, Freedom Boat Club, and Bayles Dock remain operational, ensuring continued activity within Port Jefferson Harbor.
